I deliver tailored First Aid training and connect with local organisations ready to build practical skills into their teams and communities.

Distinguished and Famous people from Great Ocean Road
William Calder
Civil engineer William Calder helped guide the Great Ocean Road project as the first chairman of Victoria’s Country Roads Board. He promoted the coastal route as both a scenic attraction and a source of work for returned servicemen. Engineers Australia records his continuing involvement until his death in 1928. The road was a collective undertaking, but Calder supplied important engineering and administrative leadership. His connection lies in the planning that helped turn a difficult coastline into one of Victoria’s best-known journeys.
William Thomas Bartholomew McCormack
William McCormack brought practical engineering experience to the Great Ocean Road. A founding member of the Country Roads Board, he was closely involved in its design and construction, drawing on earlier work in municipal engineering and public works. His contribution belongs alongside the labour of the returned servicemen who built the route. Born at Heathcote, he developed a career across several Victorian districts before taking on wider responsibilities. Engineers Australia identifies him among the important individuals behind the road’s development.
